Looks like the loml has bought me a 4 jaw chuck for Christmas so I can start turning bowls and other things with it and I am so excited cannot wait but I will. Anyways I suck at sharpening gouges etc and have relied on a carbide tool I made to turn pens etc and would like to know the best carbide tool for hollowing bowls etc. Thanks in advance for your replies

I use mainly the square cutter with slight radius for the roughing out, then switch to scrappers to finish. I am learning to use bowl gouges and do not want to rely on carbide only. If you ever get up north I am in Cottonwood
