I've used tips only from Mr. Woodchuck and I think they're really good - but I blast through the corners pretty quick seeing as how that's about all I use. My favorite tip is the SQ. Makes a nice shoulder.

What are your favorite tips and why?

Price? Quality? Color?

I use the Rotondo from wood-of 1-Kind on here.It uses the 18mm round tip and works much better then the square and you have more usable space. But thats just me.

There are two different families of carbide tips I use. Looking at the side of the bit, those with a 45 to 55 degree angle are intended for wood and too "grabby" for acrylic. Those with a 75 to 85 degree angle are for acrylic, but tear wood.

If the top is flat both kinds can easily be sharpened with a diamond credit card style hone.
