How do you use that, Mike?
I cut alittle off the bottom with diaginal pliers. Then I had to cut off the green coating. Thrid sand it a little. Then you wack the top with a hammer. It fits perfect in the transmission to knock out the nip. Then I use a punch kit from Harbor frieght to knock out the transmission.
For better discription and pictures reference "7mm dissasembly" in the libary section.

Thanks, Mike. I use a small punch for the nib and a larger punch for the transmission.

I glued two pen blanks together, one on top of the other length wise and drilled a hole just larger than the transmission. I set the lower barrel upside down, with the transmission in the hole and use my arbor press to push the punch from the nib end. It works much better than just trying to beat the transmission out with a hammer.
