We have a place for vendor praise, but not one for member praise...

Being that I live in the boonies, it's tough to find parts when tools break down.

After reading my post on my lathe bearings, I received a PM from Mack C.

Mack took time out of his day to drive to a bearing supply store for me, get the parts i needed, and put them in the mail - I was waiting to hear from him to pay him, when I got a PM saying that they're already in the mail, and the total cost to send.

To do this for someone, before even asking for payment, is an example of the wonderful community spirit and trust that we have here at the IAP.

So this is a public thank-you to Mack for going out of his way to help me get parts for my lathe, and for being such a nice guy!

Yes, Mack is a wonderful guy. On Saturday morning the dog woke me up to go outside and while I was waiting by the door I checked my email on my iPhone, saw that Mack emailed me so I emailed him back. He happened to be by his computer and asked if I wanted to Skype. His first question was why are you up so early? I didn't have the heart to tell him I was on my way back to bed but I'm sure all my yawning gave it away!

Also, Pete met Mack on another forum when I first started making pens, Pete happened to mention that so Mack sent me my first batch of blanks!
