i wanted to say thank you to the brains behind the pine pith.
i am starting a very exciting pen project that has been in the works for a few weeks now. i am making a pair of pens from a special piece of wood, i've contacted the source via email and we worked out all the details, i didn't even know what type of wood i would be using for this project. well the wood arrived this week. and guess what, its pine. luckily i now have some experience making a pen from pine. the piece of wood supplied is barely enough to squeeze 2 blanks out of so the knowledge i've gained is going to go a long way.
i always knew everything happens for a reason
