For christmas this year I made my Godmother a bottle stopper and she just loved it! Once I told her what material I used there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I had made this stopper for her from a Russian Olive tree that was on her parents property for over 55yrs (now my property). I had heard my aunts and uncles talking about this tree a while back and thanks to all the members on IAP for their guidance I was able to make this beautiful keepsake for her. It will be something she will cherish forever and everytime she uses it and looks at it she will remember her mother and father.
I just wanted to thank everyone here for all their help over the past year without this site I would have never gotten to the level I am at now on my own. I have only you guys and gals to thank! And yes I know no pictures it didn't happen but I had to finish the stopper and get it wraped in about 45minutes

Now I will be making pens and more stoppers for the rest of the family members. And once I perfect making the cartridge pens myself I will make some pens from the 21 gun salute of my grandfather and give those as gifts next year :biggrin:
