What a wonderful surprise! Ive been working things through day by day. Living situation is still up in the air. But my lathe is here with me. And I've worked things around where I should be able to is down and turn a pen or two.
So this afternoon I was sitting down to rest a bit when my postal carrier came to my door with a box. To my surprise it was packed with pen blanks of all kinds from our dear ctubbs - Charles, bless you! I can't even begin to tell you the joy I've had all day as I contemplate turning again SOON. So many woods I've never turned before with grains and patterns I can't wait to see come to life!
Thank you Charles! And thanks for those extra long pieces. I can make some dip pens and obliques, too. EEEEHHAAA!:biggrin:
