Western MA.
Package deal. it ALL goes. Cash only, local pickup in Western MA. Pittsfield
This is a perfect deal to start a business or expand what you have.
PSI Turncrafter Commander, 12" midi lathe with 18" extension. 7 years old, works fine,
3 wheel PSI stabilizer
PSI buffing system, 3- 8" pads and mandrel.
9" Skil bandsaw,3386, piece of crap but I use it. Perfectly running 2nd saw, yes, two of them. I actually have a brand new 3rd one but I'm going to try to sell it on marketplace.
~ 1986 Rockwell drill press, 3 1/4" throw, custom drawers in original stand. works fine
Sooooo many drill bit it's a crime, tubed and labled. Forstner,Brad Points and Jobbers.
~ 700 finished PSI pens, in display cases
Probably 200 PSI new pen kits.
Finished bowls, necklaces, and all the stuff you sell at a craft market.
Too many pre-drilled. 7mm tubed, matched blanks, 50+ pairs I think.
Pre cast resin blanks in pairs mostly. maybe 20 pairs.
65+ woods in 12" long blanks. Most are 3/4x3/4. 50/50 exotics and local domestic. Some expensive blanks in there. Close to 400 sticks or better probably.
Jigs, glues, tools, lots of tools. Well I think so anyways.
Sand papers, micromesh, and all the usual crap that you have for doing the work.
5 gallon vacuum chamber with pump, flawless.
2.5 gallon pressure pot, and custom accessories. Flawless. 50 PSI for days.
Weird crap like Banksia pods, weird wood, Pressed stuff for pendants, and all of the jewelry molds, findings and tools.
125+ mica powders, various brands, most are 3 grams+, jarred and labeled.
Miscellaneous woods, tubes parts and pieces that go with a pen/lathe turning business.
WAY TOO MUCH more to list
I have no problem video chatting on FB messenger and taking you on a tour of most of what is here.
Old equipment:
1946 Craftsman !0" tablesaw, no wings or stand, original motor and support. Dismantled and in the process of cleaning, might not get to it.
1948 18" Craftsman scroll saw with original motor
$20,000 CASH....yes, 200 - $100 dollar bills. Don't waste my time, be serious k?. The finished pens alone at $20 each are ~14k.
The reason I say "tentative" is I may be getting evicted. I have no problem storing this stuff. My daughter can deal with it when I die.
I forgot, 5 - 2'x4' Lifetime folding tables. 2 others that work. 10x10 canopy with sides, old ,battered but works.
There is a carbide blade sharpener around, works is all I can say.
How about carpentry tools? Yeah way too many to list and a separate deal at that.
Almost all of the "craft fair" stuff is in 4 suitcases, junk but they work.
I also forgot the shelving, but that is for the video chat.

Sorry but reading this I do not see $20,000 dollars worth of stuff. Already made items do not count that. The small power tools and even the older larger tools, looking at $50 each, pen kits unless they are $100 kits. 700 finished pens that someone made not worth much. I would not want the pens. I could not sell them with a good conscience. I do not want to be negative but would suggest be a little more flexible and realistic. Just an opinion so do not shoot the messenger. Now there are people who buy estate sales so advertise in your area.

I have no problem with what you think.
If you are already in a craft show business the finished pens are a 70%+ return with no labor but the usual booth fees and setup Believe me, you'd probably get 100% depending on where you live.
As for the rest, there is a potential to make more, the woods alone are worth 1000.
I'm not going to try to justify anything to anybody,
You want it, pay for it. Negotiate... i might be inclined but not much.

My point is you come here to a forum where we are all pen makers. Now I get the idea trying to sell your shop to beginners or something like that. But I am not sure who is going to want to sell pens made by someone else if they are making pens. That is what I am saying. Same goes for bowls and anything else you made. The tools and unmade kits may have value to someone here. How can I justify to my customers that I made the pens you made if I am selling at a craft show. I could not do it. You mention blanks, maybe there is some value there but if basic woods, again how much could you expect? Kits depend on what kits. I am not trying to be negative, just giving you facts when selling on a pen turning site. Selling as a group will be tough to do but wish you luck. As I said advertise as an estate sale.

I'm a pen maker too. Since 2014. Actively selling at shows since 2018.
You tell your customers that that particular pen is not your own make, therefore it is discounted. Still quality but not yours. And there you have your 70%+ return.
As for a new turner that needs the equipment and stock it is a deal, If they lie and say it's their stuff, who am I to naysay?
I have some of the most rare and expensive woods from African Blackwood to Pink Ivory and Snakewood. Can anybody get them...yep. Ready to cut to length and drill/turn? no. Well yes, but at a premium price for pre made pen blanks. All that work is done.
I feel like I am am trying to justify what I think the whole set up is worth. I'll store it. np.

Well now I feel like I am trying to justify my thoughts I mentioned to you. Not sure how much you followed this site but there have been others before you to try to sell entire shops and things here and I have seen some responses before. I wish you luck in this adventure. But I gave you some reality points. If you want to break down and sell the more attractive blanks and pen kits here separately you may get more response and takers. But that will take some work. Plus again you say that the blanks are predrilled, while that sounds good it really is not. Not everyone uses the same kits. Not everyone does the same process as you. Not everyone uses the same adhesives and the list goes on. Same for your made pens. How well were they made and what quality? How were they finished and again not everyone follows your same steps. Again this is not a knock on your work but you are asking us to take on your work along with your tools and supplys. The tools and supplies are an easier sell. Ok I am out of this conversation. I tried to pass on some info and if others want to take you up on the sales they should be able to do that without me interfering. Sorry to see you get out of the hobby from what it sounds like is happening. Good luck with this project and your future endeavors.

Thank you for the advice.
Let me clarify some things.
7mm blanks: Go to PSI, get the 30 pen bundle for $50. Make them and sell for $2 and you made your money back,. For 5 then it's a 100%+ profit. It doesn't matter what pen company you use, they all have 7mm kits in that size.
All wooden pens have a CA finish, to 12000 micromesh. Resin pens just the 320-12000 micromesh finish.
Attached are some pens/cases, you decide if they are quality. Of course a picture isn't going to do anything justice.
I do not have time to piecemeal it out, If I lose my space then I'm on the streets. If it all has to be stored then I guess I'll live out of the storage unit.

@jttheclockman

I really wish you had handled this privately with Steve. The man is just trying to sell his stuff for what he feel's it's worth, and my guess would be there's already some pain involved on his end having to do so. Your message that it's not worth it, or he could make more by piecing it out, or whatever your message is, will become clear to him eventually if nobody buys it or makes him an offer he likes. Your approach here violates the clear rules for this forum.

Then take it down Jeff. I have no problem with that. You can easily take it back to his ad. I was trying to get him to reconsider his approach. Gave him a suggestion about trying an Estate sale. He seems to be in a hurry so tried to help. I guess my attempt was not the right one. Sorry.

No Polluting:
I'll go along with this.
However Threads like this give the seller attention. It can work in a positive way. Delete anything the OP does not want here...it's his show. In the future any poster that does not like a reply to his sale can report it.... Hit REPORT in the lower left corner. The moderators will honor requests.

Steve, I am sorry for overstepping my bounds with commenting and hope you did not take them in a negative way. I truely was trying to help in some way because you seem to be in a jam and in a hurry. Sorry to read that also.

Not sure if you read the post Jeff posted toward me in reply but he has offered to delete this posting if you would copy and paste your original ad in a new thread. This would probably be the best thing to do and clean this all up. Again I hope you accept my apologies for taking this tact for replying. I do hope things work out for you all ways around.
