Taps & Dies

No ... most sets don't contain the finer thread pitches nor do they include the custom taps required for the different feed housings available.

As for the most popular? Probably M12x.75 for the cap/body connection and M9x.75 for the section/body connection. The feed housing tap varies depending on the brand you go with.

You mean for "kitless" work? Or for kit sections and such? Probably won't find what you need in a set. In the sets I have, I found the threads to be too course. I could have probably made the diameters work, but not the thread pitch.
Of course, everyone does it differently, but here's what I have for kitless work:
8mm X .75
9mm x .75
10mm x .75
12mm x .75
I have the tap for a 5mm Bock feed housing, can't remember the exact size. I think it's a 6.4mm x .6 (5.8mm drill bit)
And I've got all of the appropriate drill bits for the above taps as well as for drilling out for the feed housing (other than just the threads).
