I showed this a couple off days ago. I made a few modifications. The slots I routed in for the tape hubs was done straight down and that let the tape move up too much, so I made some keepers to keep that from happening. They are held in with one screw. If I were to make another one, I'd
rout the slots at an angle, so the keepers wouldn't be necessary. I also added some blades to cut the tape and they work very well. I bought them on amazon. 8 in a pack for ten bucks. The picture shows the hubs I made and the keepers. On the hubs, I glued the dowel on one side and the other just slips on.

Ken, did you turn the hubs or cut them round and route the recess?? Nice job by the way.
