Thanks Eric, your video is VERY timely for me, and provide needed and useful information. Thanks again.

I won't be turning for a while - up to my armpits in shop maintenance: primary lathe (Delta 46-640) tailstock cleanout, secondary lathe (Delta 46-250) power supply rewire, primary bandsaw (Delta 28-475X) upper wheel alignment, drill press (Delta 11-990) table x & y axis alignment. I'm already worn out just thinking about it.

Found this video online to be really helpful. About 6 months in on my new lathe and I'm in need of some maintenance. I'm thinking this will be a twice yearly procedure for me.

Yeap I agree with Don...the video is very timely. Two of my lathes tailstocks started acting up the last few days. I cant believe I've never done this on any of mine before..the oldest has got to be 15 years at least that I've had it and it was used at that time.
I watched Mike Peaces videos before , seems to be a stand up guy.

Thanks for the reminder !
