Tailstock lock nut

I need a square lock nut for my Rikon mini lathe 70-100. The last post for these was in 2009 and I was unable to reply so I sent a PM and have not received answer.

Call Rikon and let them know you have a deficient part. Chances are good they will send you a replacement, even if it's out of warranty.

Contact JohnnyCNC he makes one for the jet midi and I believe it will work on yours, not sure. He may even be able to make one for you.

I will try and contact Johnnycnc. The original locknut is not bad, I just want to upgrade to the square type. BTW, Rikon has very good customer support. They actually have a live person you can talk to and understand.

I'm sorry I have been out of these..
time has just not permitted me to get more made.
There are plans for more later, but I know that doesn't help you now.

Wait for Johnny to have more. I have the Rikon and the one for the Jet works great. It is certainly better locking then the round original that comes with the lathe.
