Lets see if anyone can answer this question for me.
I bought some new screws last fall that use a T-25 drive. Some are 6 inchs long and it would be great if I could find a way to use my 3/8 impact gun to drive them with. I think that is called a Apex driver???
Any ideals on where such a animal could be bought at ??????

A T-25 is a Torx bit. Stop your local Matco Tool truck. The guy here sells them for $4. Lifetime warantee. I have went through about 10 of them on my $4!

A T-25 is a Torx size and you can usually buy the driver at any hardware store, I picked up a set at Home Depot not long ago.

If it's the same as the UK, then the T refers to Torq head screws. A bit like Allen head but with sharper star points in the corners.

You should be able to find Torq Sockets but if you can't, then I can find a set for you here. However, I haven't seen them rated for an impact driver.
(Normally black finish)

After going through several(5) 2pks of the Bosch T-25s, if I ever use them again I would go with the Mac brand. I just need to find some local sucker to dump 2000-3000 torx screws on. I am going to go to the square drive. They don't strip out as easily, the bits or the screws.

I have a set I think came from a flea market years back, wish I could tell you more other than it does exist.

I MUCH prefer torx drive screws in the decks I build. I will not use anything but torx if I have a choice. In my professional opinion, they are much better than square drive and I very seldom break bits unless I buy the cheap ones (read DeWalt, Bosch, etc). I use nothing but GRK bits and have never had one of theirs break.

That said, let me know what screws you have if you really do want to get rid of them and how much. I may be interested.
