Made this bud vase today, it has a glass tube insert. 6 1/4" tall.

Is the wall thickness pretty close to the same all the way throughout the piece, or just a straight 'bore' for the insert? Very cool either way, it'll actually be able to be used for flowers and such with water.

The upper part above the neck is turned, the glass tube is recessed and just a straight bore from the neck down.

Cody, that is very attractive. I love the grain in that Sycamore. It is very similar to our Aussie Banksia wood.
