It's been a scorcher all over Texas this summer. I'm in West Texas and it's been up to 112 in the garage.
 
I live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and I am going to SWAT again this year. So far, we have had a brutally hot summer!

Yes, it is going to be HOT!
 
i grew up in East Texas about 40+ miles east of Waco... the year I graduated from high school and was driver for a local movie house owner, and before most cars had AC... I remember a few days we had 114 degrees on our drive to Dallas to pick up films and concession supplies.
Only relief we had of the weather was to run the 2-90 AC.... roll down both windows and run at 90 miles per hour.
I actually hated to drive his wife's car... it was a '59 Bellaire with "factor air"... the driver side vent blew right on to my left hand and I couldn't move it and it blew really cold air, so my hand was always cold ... the rest of the body not so cool.
 
Will be going to SWAT again and while it will be hot, we have had record high temperatures in Louisiana for the past month, so It's just going from one frying pan to another. Rob, if this is your first trip to SWAT, your in for a treat. I think it's one of the best symposium out there for the money. It will stand toe to toe with the AAW any day. Hope to see you there.
