Looking for a suggestion for a Nurse graduate. I've read through many posts that Nurses, Police, Doctors, EMT, etc. prefer click type pens. I get that as I prefer that also for the one hand operation. So what recommendations do you have for this? I like the "Blade" but feel this may be too large for her hands. I haven't kept up with the latest "best" click type pens for awhile. Just looking for some advice. Thanks for the input!

I did one of these for my daughter who is a nurse. It uses a standard click mechanism not a Schmidt but has been no problem for the past year. I paired it with a diamond cast blank and it really came out nice. I would recommend using some type of polymer blank as it makes it easier to sanitize if needed.

The nurse inlay blank is relatively easy to assemble and turn. You can get them from Exotic Blanks or Kallenshan Woods. They fit a 27/64 tube. I believe Woodnwhimsies has their own version as well.

Very appropriate. Good suggestion on using polymer blank so they can be sanitized.
