I have a client who can only be described as a stylophile, the man is an absolute pen nut! And I love doing work for him! My wife just dropped off a $150 pen for him and he immediately called me to order another but it was like no other order I have ever taken. "I want another pen Rick, anything you want to try but haven't yet"? "How about a pen with no exposed metal Jay?" "'Can you do that in all Alaskan stuff?' 'Whale bone and antler work for ya?'" 3 second pause "Figure out a way to throw in some color and keep it under $200." I have a female fountain pen nut who is the same way, orders 3-4 pens for gifts, then picks a material and lets me play with another pen for herself. Like I said I love stylophiles!

Wow, what wonderful customers !! Wish I had about 5 of them. Actually, I would settle for one client like that. You must do really nice work. Congrats.

I'd like to have a customer like that, but down here the natives still use sticks and draw symbols in the sand.

I showed your comment to my wife, and she said, "Tell him he's lucky. The part of Tennessee I come from, most of the locals wouldn't know how to draw symbols in the sand. And even if they did, no one else would know how to read them."

Considering the fact that I grew up in Seattle, I'm staying out of this one.
