About a year ago I went on a search to find a certain cabinet. No luck. Nothing used, and new was like $400. This was going to be for storage so I could not spend the big bucks. Checked out an old office supply store in town and they had one they were using, but not for sale. The lady took my number in case they came across one.
Jumping ahead a year my phone rings. It is the lady. The store is closing their store front and going into warehouse mode. The cabinet they had is available for $20.00. Only catch is, I have to clean it out. I say no problem and head over, money in hand.
Get the cabinet home, open a few drawers and all sorts of pen refills, inserts, pencil refills, eraser refills, etc.

Still need to figure out what is what. But still a nice load for $20.

Nice, I like cabinets with all sorts of drawers myself. I'm trying to find one that has drawers that my baseball/football cards in acrylic will fit nicely in. The one you have looks exactly like what I'm looking for. What is the name brand. I need one of those.[^]

That is an awesome deal!!! A steal is more like it. [:0]

CONGRATS!!!

BTW, what size are each of the drawers? It looks perfect for penmakers really.

I believe it is called a literature storage cabinet. Made by most of the office supply manufacturers.

I have an old one made by "Steelmaster", also remember one made by "Hon". Generally, check on-line, ought to be able to find them.

Excellent deal! I am using a similar set-up, I have 4 smaller drawer units: 2 have 18 drawers 3"h x 4"w by 14" deep, and 2 w/24 drawers
3" x 4" x 18" deep. These units were giveaways when my employer closed a service facility. Even included 3 HD shelving units to support the drawer units and a few shelves!

The brand on this one is COLE. I have another one that I ended up buying new last year after my search came up empty. The company that made that one is HOBART.

The drawers are 27 drawers. 16" deep, 9" wide, and 3.5" tall. It is perfect for a ton of things. My original one is for my tools in the garage. This one will be for the pen stuff.
They are easy to find new, just not so easy to find used. They will be on ebay sometimes, but you have to be close enough to pick them up.
