Hello Everyone
Well I'm still hard down and it looks as thought it will be a bit more maintenance will need to be done to fix the downing grips. Ortho did a taxi test last Friday but it failed and I had to be towed back in, but I did get the taxi test. I'll have special work done (physical therapy) this week. The good news is that I wont become a hanger queen. And should be ready for flight soon. Please keep me in your prayers I'm more then ready to get back at it. Thanks

You have been around Naval Aviation way too long (21 years in Navy for me, now retired. P3 community...that is right: don't land on LGB's [Large Gray Boats]) I hope your recovery is quick and complete.

Dan, you have been in my prayers since you started with this little tech..........

Hang in there big guy, all I can say is read, read, read,.......

Listen to the Air Boss and the Flight Deck Director before making your next taxi test. Those white and yellow shirts know their business.:wink:

Thanks for the comments. Steve you could be right. I know about P3's when I was stationed at NAS Millington there was a P3 squadron there I worked at the Main Paraloft we inspected all the survival gear. Thanks for all the prayers.

Do the PT . Don't redline the machinery. Stay within sop parameters. Then pull chocks and taxi slow around the perimeter Nothing fancy. The reexamine befor increaseing power When ready practice a few touch and gos. Thoughts wishes prayers your way.

Just so you don't have to cannabalize another aircraft to get back up! Hopefully NARF is out of the equation.

Both the Air Boss, Mini Boss and Flight Deck Director told me know but I got the ok from CAG. No other aircraft are available mine was the only one made a one of a kind. I'm going to do just what the folk at PT tell me. I'm hoping to have wheel in the well soon and I'll be able to get rid of these out riggers.
