I have been an Aersomith fan for as long as I can remember. I never remember not knowing Walk this Way, Toys in the Attic, Sweet Emotion, ect. Well I started reading Steven Tylers book, and not too far into it. It honestly reminds me of listneing to someone that is stoned, who thinks they are smart, but actually are really dumb! Maybe it will get better farther into it.

Well, I don't think that Mr Tyler gets it.
I too love the music but I can't really say I could have a conversation with the man.
I'm a fan and all but A BOOK? I think it's a final shake down of his fans.
I want to yell, Hey Steve, Stick to music !

I have been a fan of their music as well. I have not purchased the book, so I look forward to your comments as you continue through. However, I heard a review on SiriusXM radio about their recent concert in NJ. He said he's seen them in concert 11 times, and this was the finest concert he's ever seen them put on. He really spoke highly of their musicianship and the quality of the show. He also had good comments regarding Cheap Trick, the opening act.

PS. It is Does the noise in my head scare you?

I started reading some more last night and it seemed like he got off the weird kick, but then he picked it up again. My wife got it from the library for me. When he is not off on a tangent about things its pretty interesting, but then he talks about how the magnetic fields in the earth could be made to make vibrations like a guitar to send to the aliens.

He aparently has been sober for over 5 years now.... That and even if I got an autograph from him, I would probably have to go take the drug test, so that would scare me.

How many of us thirty years ago thought we would be watching geriatric rockers do super bowl half time shows. The music was great in it's day, but these guys do not have the chops they once had. Look at the Olympic opening ceremony and Paul McCartney. I think Heather Mills drained more than his bank account, I think she drained his life. I think I will stick to the re-mastered digital recordings and not watch a live show.

Then again Jimmy Buffett and enough margaritas and I might change my mind.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that performance was sad and lacking.
