I enjoy doing 'flatwork' as much as I enjoy turning pens. Along this line,I've made a pen station that will comfortably hold forty four(44) of my pens with ease. It holds and displays slimlines just as comfortably as Emperors. Crafted out maple and birch in its entirety. The design as in most of my work of this nature is centered around the maple pen tray that is conveniently tucked underneath the pen "steps". Although designed for display purposes it is also a safe and convenient way to transport the pens when heading towards a show. The entire piece is finished in BLO and was sanded to 320 grit. The brass handles at the sides make transportation a breeze. Hope that you like it.

That looks really nice, great work. I wish I could do flatwork, but I was a miserable failure in shop class.[:(] I really admire those who can do it well, like you.
