About the Steampunk Blanks
These are painstakingly made with real watch parts. The tubes I use are for the Sierra and purchased direct from Berea. The tubes have an approximate I.D. of.389 and a length of 2.210. They are made with Silmar 41 P.R. I turn them round and polish so you can easily see the finished product. I also square the ends for you. I make it easy and do most of the work. a Sierra Vista is recommended. I check each blank with the large final end of the Sierra Vista (.522) for high spots. You should be OK just use care especially if you are turning to a smaller kit. These are for experienced turners although they are no different then turning any other P.R. blank care must be taken when getting close to final size.
Guarantee
First thing when you get the blank take a close look before you touch it. If for any reason you don't like it contact me rite away. Return it to me for a full refund the cost of the blank.
Now even better I guarantee these will work with a Vista. If you have a problem and chip or take a chunk out contact me with photos as long as it is not catastrophic and you did not try to repair yourself such as adding CA. I will buy it back or repair at 50% the cost of the blank (minus shipping).
