I have been trying to creat a translucent black pearl blank. I am almost there. I think I will be able to nail what I am trying to get by changing the color of the Powder coat on the next one. The picture does not show the depth of the resin very well. You can see a little bit of the depth on the cap.

Scott, are you using Pearl-Ex or pearl paint powder?? it sure looks good, I hope you get the full pearl effect, that would look sharp.

A combination of Black Mixol and antique silver Pearlex. I cast this one onto a gloss black PC'd tube. I think I will try a silver mirror PC'd tube next.
