I am offering for sale new carbide planer knives which many folks use to make their own carbide turning tools. The inserts are made by Tigra in Germany, and are 14.6mm x 14.6 x 2.5 mm thick. The grade is T10MG, which means micrograin. There is no radius or curve to them, they are perfectly square, and meet at a sharp square corner. The thru hole is 6.3mm and the top is countersunk. The bevel angle is 30 degrees. The edge is very sharp.
I am selling them in a set of two for $9.00. Shipping is free in the US. Paypal is preferred.
I do not own any of the commercially available carbide turning tools so I have no way of knowing which tools these might fit. Please meaure your tool to be sure. I have only 4 sets to sell.
