So the last couple months I've been spending my time building a chicken pen and duck pen. We have 4 rhode island reds already in the chicken coop and I just finished the duck pen and house for the 3 Rouen ducks that are still brooding. Hopefully the chickens will start laying about the end of month. Our dog loves to just lay out by the coop and seems to be guarding them. Lol So here's their homes.

Very Cool. - My oldest son has about a dozen chickens, two ducks, a Great Dane, and about a half dozen cats. Of all the eggs they gather, my son likes the duck eggs best! - Dave

Interesting. I have seen similar to your chicken pen. Is the duck pen a type of dog kennel with a curved roof?

Not sure if this happens to others but my wife is severely allergic to Duck eggs. We were just in Arizona and a restaurant served a dish that apparently used Duck eggs in their breading on a chili pepper dish. I thought I was going to have to take her to the emergency room. But by the next morning she was fine. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night.

It is chicken pen off amazon. I modified the structure using chain link rails and put in 1/2" wire welded fencing instead of the chicken wire they sent. This what it looks like before mods.
