This is the back of my house.
The Ice came on Tuesday and we lost power at 9:30.
Power was restored at 11:00 AM Friday/today. It was really freakie waiting for the next crack and hoping the branch doesn't hit the house. I will admit, I was kind of jumpie Wednesday every time I heard similar noises at work. After the ice on Tuesday the snow came on Wednesday. They started predicting 10" of snow but we ended up with probably 4" because there was more of a mix of snow, rain and sleet mix. More branches down.
Tonight is calm and the house is above 45 degrees F.

Man,that's tough.Insurance helps with the repair bils but not the hardship of being out of home.

We have not had to leave our home. The branch is laying on top of the roof.

You guys are very lucky. There's some huge trees in your neighborhood that could cause major damage.
