Now that the winter has finally left Nova Scotia, it's now warm enough to fire up the lathe again ready for this years craft shows.
I'm quite pleased with my hours work.
I'm also experimenting with the "lightbox" from Target too in these photos.

Was a long winter(folks live in Maine) and a lot of people are really tired on the global warming! The stopper has a nice 'style' to it! And the pens have a good fit-n-finish too!

Scott (craft sales, ahh...crap) B

Some fine turnings for the craft show. I really like the bottle stopper great shape, the pens are very nice. All have great finish. Glad you to hear you were able to do some turning

Nice work, Steve.
Would you mind telling us what materials, and finish you used.
I wonder what we are going to do, with all the Bottle Stoppers, now that so many wines have Screw Caps.
Excellent Fit and Finish.
Brian.

The wine stopper is part of a Yew tree from my neighbours house from when I lived in the UK.This is finished with friction polish. The Sierra is made from a rope that has been cast in acrylic. This was supplied by Wood n Whimsies. Finally, the Cigar, I can't for the life of me remember which blank this is! Both pens are finished with micromesh and plastic polish.
