I got the idea of gluing two boards together for the start of a bowl. The fellow used his finger to spread the glue as many of us do or have done. A while back, I got the idea of the silicone basting brushes for the task. Can't remember if it was Dollar and a Quarter Tree or Ollie's. It works. It dried overnight; I ran hot water and Dawn over it. Glue came off in a string so it went in the trash instead of the drain. I flipped through the squigglies and found a couple tiny bits of glue (Titebond III). Next time, I'll put it in a cup or can of water to soak first. Thought I would pass this along to the group.
One good turn deserves another.

Old plastic hotel key card, use a file to cut some small triangular notches in the edge. Works great. Wipe it off when done and when too fouled, in the trash it goes.
