Had a gentleman with whom I have done business with before bring me this desk set and asked if I had a replacement for what I thought were the refills. It belonged to his great great grandfather.
Turns out he wants 2 replacement pens for it. He picked out an olive wood slimline I had in stock so now I go home and make 2 similar pens for him.

You won`t get many jobs to work with a piece of history like that ! I would suggest doing a prototype first , as your usual slimline profile may not work well with the tapered holder .
The olive wood slimline I had for sale fit perfectly. Only problem was I only had one in gold Ti.

I believe in one of Dick Sing's books they have some pens just like that.....
Maybe PM John Underhill...he and Dick are tight!

Obviously a thing from the past. I would lock it in a safe.
Chris, need to read the book. Thanks for the title and author. Also, Whip the Rebellion by George Walsh.
As for Grant...another Ohio boy makes good.;)
