How big of a burl do you have?

I was at The Little Machine Shop's website when I came across this photo. Chris Wood, founder of TLMS, recently attended a tool exhibition trade show in China. The chuck has a 55 inch swing and was turning when the photo was taken.
Thanks to Chris for allowing me to use his photo!

Darrick ... I'd bet that at least half of our tools, lathes, and 100% of our pen kits are imported from China. Probably 75% of Wal-Mart and 100% of HF is from China as well. It's what the economists call a "trade imbalance". However, the heart of the problem doesn't have to do with quality or trade imbalance. The real issue is a Communist dictator who oppresses and murders his citizens.
