This is an Elegant Sierra made with one of my Spanish Oak Burl "Texas Hybrid"™ blanks. It has a CA finish, of course! Thanks for looking!

Beautiful pen Curtis! It's nice to know that you get a chance to make pens even with all the responsibilities you have. Regards, Doc

It looks really nice. At first I wasn't a big fan of the worthless wood, but now I am liking it more and more. The pen looks great and has a nice finish. One of these days I will get me a piece to try.

I think I've liked every single blank of yours I've ever seen turned, but, this one is now at the absolute top of that list. A truly stunning blank, and an outstanding pen.

Very Nice! How do you cross a spanish oak with a box elder like that? ; ) Nice Mix on all combinations here- Chrome El Sierra/colorful oak, and your choice of resin colors! You have a good eye for what goes together! Thanks for sharing a great photo too!
