Spalted alder baron

This is the crosscut spalted alder baron fountain pen i made for Bobburt for the pith.Camera crapped out so had to use my scanner to take pics.[/ATTACH]

It is hard to get excited about the out of focus pictures. However, looking through the haze, I think you might have created a master piece.

That is a loooooooong pen!

I'd suggest a pic with the top taken off but still in the pic.

Also, get a stand of some sort for the camera. Make sure the macro setting is on and use a timer to take the pic. It'll come out much sharper.

That is some nice spalt and I bet that is a beautiful pen to hold! The Pict came out pretty go considering it was scanned in.
