I have heard bench grinder wheel washers called everything in the book.
From washers to flanges to Belleville disc springs.
All I want is some washers suitable for use on a grinder wheel that are thinner than standard washers so I can mount a 1" wide wheel where a 3/4" wheel now lives.

So, does anyone have a source for them that doesn't charge $26 per washer?
I looked on the replacement parts websites and that's what they charge for replacement washers for a Delta, Jet, or Porter Cable grinder.
Sorry, but I'm not making someone's condo payments for 4 lousy washers.

I have checked McMaster Carr but I am not sure what I need.
I need some that have a 5/8" hole, and are around 2" across, but about
.100" thick.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
TIA.

I can mail you two extras. I have the variable speed delta 8 inch grinder (from Lowes). If you find out they fit or you want to try them just pm your address and I will mail on Monday.

Herb,

Ken Rizza sells spherical washers with his CBN wheels for $6.

Give him a call at WoodTurners Wonders and see if they will work.

Thanks Tony. I will let you know if I need them. I think I will try the link listed below. You might end up needing them yourself & I'd rather not let you come up short.

Thanks Ken, I will check into that.

I appreciate all the help.

No problem. Offer is still open if you want them. BTW, Ken is less than 20 miles from me in case I do and I have a b/u pair if I do.
