What kind did you get? The one I have, getting serviced, is an Ariens. I think it just needs to have the carb cleaned. New carbs no longer have jets you can adjust.

I had a toro for 20 years , never had much trouble with it. Replaced it with an Ariens a couple years ago and it's already in the shop. It is made more heavy duty, so we'll see. It's probably my own fault. I thought I had run it dry last spring, but I might not have.
