Sorry everyone but after Linda's bilaterall lung transplant in November she got to come home and was home for Thanksgiving and had to go back in for fluid in and around her lungs, then was home for Christmas and the same thing happened, and when she went back in on Jan 15th on my birthday everything that could go wrong did, and I was there 16-18 hours a day 7 days a week until May 24th when she got to come home, she's done pretty good since then with only a 1 week stay last week and now she is home we hope for a long time.

I've spent percious little time on line since Jan. I have not meant to ignore anyone, I have simply had more important things on my mind than the internet, I hope everyone can understand my absence.

Joe,

No need to apologize at all. We're glad to have you back, even if it's only occasionally, and please know that you and your wife are in my prayers.

Welcome back Joe!!! And having Mrs Joe healthy is a great reason for paying attention to what is important! I understand how she feels...cancer took me for a loop and when you're an RT for a living...not a good thing! Glad she's home and doing well, take care of the girl first!!

I pray all is resolved with your wife's transplant and you can enjoy many years together. We will always be here when you want to stop in. Being a lung transplant coordinator, I do see complications occasionally. They take lots of family support. Make sure you also get breaks and take care of yourself.

Joe,

You don't ever need to apologize to a bunch of folks that make pens. I know you and Linda have been thru much trials and tribulations and I am so glad that Linda is home and you two have each other.

Mike

Thanks folks, I'll try to be around a little more now that the " New Miss Linda " is home, I do have alot of Desert Ironwood pen blanks ready to go and I'll try to find time to gather up some of the Staghorn Cholla Cactus that some of you like for casting. Still pretty busy with Linda's physical rehab but she is getting stronger each day Thank God!

Glad that she is doing better. One day at a time. I know how hard it is to get it all balanced with all the meds and treatments. I was a pediatric transplant RN and worked with families to learn all the meds and treaments. It is a full time job for the patient and the family. Glad to see you back, give your wife my regards and tell her best wishes for a continued recovery.
