Does anyone have any experience with using the Sorby Micro Hollowing Tool set?
http://www.woodcraft.com/Catalog/ProductPage.aspx?prodid=26047

I am thinking of getting it but I have no experience with hollowing tools. Funds are getting a little low, so I figured $50 for the set is not that bad of a price.

I am planning on doing small bowls and vases at first. Bascially items to show off my pens with and just for fun.

Any comments about these tools would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I just bought it and have used it a total of once.

I haven't been out in the shop lately with Baseball season upon us - but it seems to be a fairly good little tool. The bits stay sharp for a fairly long time. My goal is to use this as a stepping stone into larger hollowing tools such as the Trent Bosch tools.

They could have made an improvement on it by making a hole and putting a magnet in the end to hold the allen wrench - but that is my only gripe at the moment.
