Son's second pen

My son contacted me before Christmas and asked if I could give him his second pen turning lesson while he was home for the holiday. He said he wanted to make a rollerball for a friend who had spent a year in India studying Hindu. He thought Spalted tamarind would be an appropriate choice, so I had some ready when he got home Saurday night. In spite of the busy long weekend, we found some lathe time. I advised, he worked .... Here's the result ...
