Somewhere over the rainbow

Last night this beautiful, very bright rainbow appeared to the east. So I ran out and snapped a panoramic of it over our house. (Ours is the single story).

Just amazing what nature can do!

Looks like it was a double rainbow. Great picture. Where's all the trees? Don't you have trees in WI? Maybe it's too cold for trees?

Yes, It was a double rainbow - good eyes

And there is very few trees in this neighborhood - the neighborhood was built in what I believe used to be farmland. Its only been housing for just over a decade. But if you look REALLY close at the base of the left side of the double rainbows, you can see trees. We do have lots of them overall. :biggrin:

Great photo. I can't remember seeing one that reached all the way across. Is there a pot of gold on each end?
