If you are like me, and I know I am, sometimes you just want to try something new.

For my 2nd bespoke fountain pen, I took a blue commercial acrylic blank (from china) and took a fine nib from a $2 wish.com fountain pen.

Kind of wondering now. I used the whole pen section and nib from a Chinese pen. Does this pen still count as a "bespoke"?

Good job !

On my first bespoke / kitless I used a section from an El Grande / Cambridge pen kit.
I count it as my first kitless therefore I think you count yours as one too.

Since then I've made all the sections myself but I wouldn't hesitate to use one from a kit if it helps get the desired result I'm looking for.

Same process as before.

This time I stole a pen section from a white chinese pen. I'm getting better at reverse engineering the tap/dies needed for an unknown pen section.
