Hi all,

I know I am knew here, but I have been in the shadows a while reading and I know drift wood doesnt have the best reputation for dulling effect and stuff, but I wanted to get a certain piece casted and stabilized in acrylic(or anything else that may work). Anyway, I would be able to cut it down, drill it or anything and send enough so if you made it you would have extra to sell yourself. The idea was to have driftwood be casted and put under pressure(or vacuum) to fill the small voids in it then I would be able to use it better and it should have an interesting pattern.

I would be willing to pay for somebody to at least attempt to do this.

Thanks
-Eli

I will be turning it into a pen and it is currently about 1.5"x2"x4" but can be cut down to any size or any holes needed drilled. I want it stabilized, and encased in a "block" of clear resin.

i think its kinda silly to have it stabilized and cast in resin if you are going to turn it down anyway. its sounds like the most important thing is that it is stabilized, right?!
