That is a very nice collection of pens. Your photography is also great. Thank you for showing us your work
during the past year. Hope to see more of your PenWorks.

Thank you very much, this winter i am trying to get into kitless, but those taps and dies are expensive.

But more to come...

Care to share how you're getting the reflective background? Have you got a polished something or is it a different technique?
Of course I am always open to sharing everything. But your going to laugh at how dumb this is, I just set the pen on a glossy black piece of pvc. The gloss gives the slight reflection, no editing no corrections, and I am just using my phone.

We use to have a moderator here (Curtis or MesquiteMan) who started this type of photo taking back many years and he did a great job with it. 2 things he did. One was he used a piece of pure black tile. Second was and he stressed this alot and that was clean the area over and over. It may look clean but the camera picks up every speck of dust. Some people use black paper under glass. Some use black mirror. I think the key thing is the lighting. Have to have the right angle of lights. It is a nice look when done right. But it can wash out black pens with black blanks. Seen that too. Erik your looks good.
