+1 on the Warthog. Best attack fighter built. I would hate to be on the wrong side of that flying gatling gun. Nice picture...............

I went to the University of Arizona. Right under the A-10 flight path to Davis Montham. Everybody detested the screeching they made as they came in. I always thought it was cool.

I love those warthogs! Used to see them landing at McChord AFB when I was stationed at FT Lewis during Desert Storm.

The AF Fighter Mafia has been trying to kill the A-10 since it was on the drawing board. It's still in service though!! Just like an old Timex. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' Every A-10 Driver i ever met had a bit of the cowboy/pirate in him. Same with the maintenance folks for those birds. They attract a certain kind of "get it done", "No Excuses, No Whining" kind of personality.
