Buckeye is one fabulous wood... it's probably my wife's favorite among the woods that I used when i was turning pens... I have done a duck call in a couple of years, and never did one from buckeye. Wish now I had... beautiful work.
 
Those are awesome! I was considering making some of these (I think they would do well in my area), and this just pushed me over the edge. Well done.
