I went through and cut up a couple severely split black walnut boards from a tree my father and I milled up a while back. I couldn't just let it go to the burn pile. However, I don't want the blanks so if you do, let me know. A few have some splitting in them still, but I think most will get turned off. Ranges in size from .58" to 0.93" and 3-5" long.
I also have leftover barrel stave white oak blanks from Dry Fly Distillery in Spokane, WA. Roughly 7/8x1" and 5", except the one shorty at 3.75"
You pay shipping for the small flate rate box I'll be stuffing these into. I think it's $10? There are two boxes available. Divided as equally as I could tell by eye. I would prefer these go to newer turners, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter.
A quick slimline shop (read as "I didn't care about finish quality") pencil to show color of the walnut.
