I had four decks on the back of my house. 1 second story and 3 on the ground level.

Due to some work are having done we needed to remove one of them, and the wifey decided to have them all replaced with a concrete patio.

So, first to get the second story deck taken care of.

then, to break the other three apart.

Got a bit of clean-up left to do, and the contractors will be here around noon to start their work.

Yep, I still have it. Barely, but I still have it.

As nuts as it sounds, did it all myself.

Good job there. I finished the refurb on the kitchen island over the weekend. Pulled the particleboard and melamine top and replaced it with an oversized Welded Wood deck that I got at the Woodtoberfest event. That had needed a belt sander treaatment and a roundover on the upper edges. My wife was suitably impressed.
 
first pic is the existing line to our completely failed septic system.

2nd is the Brand spanking new Grinder Pump and trench going to the new sewer hook up.

3rd is the same with the first 80 foot of 1.5 inch PVC line in place and covered in gravel.

Tomorrow they will finish the tie in and hopefully get the electric for the pump put in and the new line to the house put in place for inspection.

We are hoping Wednesday for the switch over and collapse/removal of the old tank.

Once that is all done, a framing for a 20x70 concrete patio with the pour to take place next week.

The door on the 2nd floor will receive a barrier in the next week also. (not that you could open it right now anyway. Lillian has a storage unit in front of it.
