So...USPS info advice?

Hey all, just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone has dealt or is dealing with " delivery status has not been updated." so much for delivery conformation! Shipped out a pen to ridgewood NY, and tracked it through out for delivery. As of 11:32 pm I got "delivery status has not been updated." anyone dealing with this who shipped to ny in the last few days? It seems that this message most often means it was delivered just not scanned by the driver when they dropped it off. Called USPS, no help, no info. No contact from customer either way received or not. Hate to bother anyone in NY right now but am concerned, and would like to touch base with them. Thanks as always for any advice!

Just kidding, it literally just updated to delivered! I was sure they were working on a delay but it appears it was out for delivery since Monday! Hopefully I have a safe and happy customer in NY this evening!
 
I usually always ship out using FedEx from my employer, and compared to them the reporting from USPS is terribly slow. Difference is like hours vs days.
 
I use FEDEX as well mainly because of a discount but they have the best tracking. USPS is horrible and I hate using them because of the tracking or lack of.
 
You shipped to New Jersey?

The last I heard, New Jersey has been under siege from a storm since Monday. I wouldn't expect to hear anything about a USPS delivery this week.
 
Seriously, the folks in NY, NJ, and the rest of the eastern seaboard are in a world of hurt... it may be a week or two or three before things get back to normal..

Anyone from that area, here's wishing you well and safety.
