And I didn't shut it off when I was sanding with MM.

Now I have to dig that pad out of the collector bag.

It's really cool though. I have to keep myself from watching the shavings coming off the blank get sucked into the hose as I cut. heh

Lol I do that a lot with sandpaper if I am not holding it tight. Have to take the hose off and take it off the screen. I have to get one of those separators to keep stuff like that off the screen.

It happens to me alll the time! I have a piece of 1/2" harware cloth (wire mesh) that I have cut to fit inside my hood. It catches it sometimes, other times it twists like a fireplace damper and things go right through. Turning acrylics plugs it right up in no time.
Haven't really come up with a solution I like YET!

Do you wet sand with MM. I don't use the DC when wet sanding. Doesn't seem necessary to me.

It's tied to the lights. When the lights are on, the DC is on. Unless I climb up and unplug it. Not worth it just for sanding. Even wet sanding.

I took mine apart and it *does* have a screen, but the holes are 2" across. LOL!

I lost a lot of sandpaper, and one time, 1/2 a t shirt!! Still up in the ductwork somewhere.....and I haven't figured it out yet. It's a plug just waiting to happen. :frown:
