I would guess no as the heat from the resin curing would compound the problem. This is just a guess with no facts to back it up, take it as such.

That and I believe Snakewood is too dense for the resin to penetrate...I think.

Successfully stabilized or successfully stabilized without still cracking later? Not trying to be a smartA$$, I seriously want to know.
