Well, I'm not really up for snake skin pens (because I like snakes and have 6 at home),
one thing you could do if you have a strong stomach is to pick up snakes that have been run over by cars and skin them and use those skins, if they are in good shape. I have no idea how to prepare the skins, but would like the info if anyone has it to share.
