Sometimes I've made a beautiful, almost perfect pen from one of our many "plastics" only to find a drill mark or three showing through the paint and inside of the blank.
The other day I thought I'd try something a little different. Some of you may have already hit on this, but hey I can be a little slow.
Anyway I had some acetone out the other day and had this idea. I ran a fine chain saw file down through the blank then took a swab with acetone and ran it up and down through the hole.
Once they dried I painted and later glued the tubes in.
Haven't turned it yet but I'll let you know how this turns out.
